AFFORDABLE HOMEOWNERSHIP THAT CONNECTS PEOPLE, PLACE, AND PLANET
Cultivate’s role: architect & sustainable advisor
2024 – 2026 | Eugene, Oregon
Construction broke ground November 2025.
Expanding upon the Peace Village model, Rosa Village is an infill affordable housing development created in partnership with Square One Villages and Aligned Architecture.
The project features 40 one-bedroom stacked flats and 12 two-bedroom townhomes, set within generous, walkable greenspace. The site design carefully balances the need for housing density with strong connections to nature and community-focused courtyards. Each home includes a functional front porch or balcony, offering visual connections to social spaces and landscaped areas.
Located on a former church property and adjacent to Square One Village’s transitional micro-housing Opportunity Village, this 52-unit campus will provide homeownership opportunities to very low-income households (< 60% AMI) through a limited-equity housing cooperative and community land trust.
Consistent with our commitment to sustainability, Rosa Village combines our signature energy-efficient construction with a robust PV solar installation, designed to achieve Earth Advantage Platinum certification.
